The project traces the circulation of objects within the charity system through sound. The clatter of donation boxes, the chime of hangers, the friction of items being selected—everyday sounds between Five Sister Charity Shop and St Joseph's Hospice are collected as looping samples. The charity shop becomes a sonic archive, where the flow of objects leaves auditory traces.
The overlapping and interweaving of sounds form a circular narrative: from donation to display, from being selected to entering new lives, each circulation is both continuation and renewal of stories. These samples ultimately point toward community resilience and social justice—the circulation of objects is not merely resource redistribution, but the resonance of care and mutual aid in the everyday, like sound waves, continuously transmitting and reverberating.
